As for me, as a cashier, I would prefer to stand and get exercise. However, prolonged sitting can also have negative effects on health. This highlights the importance of balancing between traditional working practices and the need for employee well-being.
Sitting for extended periods isn’t good for your back, but neither is standing for too long. Both sitting and standing come with their own sets of challenges, and it is important that employers and employees work together to find the best solutions for both health and productivity.
