What Did You Buy if Anything During Amazon Prime Days 2023?

Every year, Amazon Prime Days offers an unmissable opportunity to explore a wide variety of discounted products. Some of us have been so eager to see what we can get with that additional perk of being an Amazon Prime member, while others, like myself, have been looking forward to these sales for months.

Individual Purchases and Experiences

As a seasoned Prime member, I got a lot of things during this year's Prime Days. A few of the items that come to mind are:

A Bluewud queen bed for $6300 A Kurlon 6-inch queen mattress for $7000 Webby wooden puzzles for $125. I used these as birthday gifts for my children. Kids' t-shirts with characters like unicorns, Frozen, and Avengers for $100-125 each Lever jeans for myself for $1350 A 6-shelf plant stand for $999

However, as Melissa and Jason would say, my insurance settlement was stolen, and there's nothing I could buy with that now. Such is the cruel twist of fate combined with the reality of life's misfortunes.

I made a list of items I was interested in, and I ended up getting more than 50% off on the final purchase. Due to the ongoing lockdown, many shops are out of stock, and the only way I could get the items I needed was through Amazon's doorstep delivery. The combination of discounts and the convenience of delivery was what truly drove me to make these purchases.

One of the highlights of my shopping was getting the Boat Airdopes 441. Though the delivery took a while, upon receiving them, I can say they are awesome.

Impressive Discounts and Access

AirFipe and I were prepared for the deals, and we weren't disappointed. The discounts were beyond my expectations, and it was a huge step towards achieving our desired products. This is the perfect event to grab that dream item or get something you had been planning to buy for ages.

I also purchased:

Olay skincare products Biotique shampoo and facewash

The Amazon Prime Day has come a long way since its inception. On July 15, 2015, to celebrate the website's 20th anniversary, Amazon held its first Prime Day, featuring a large number of sales and promotions exclusively available to Amazon Prime subscribers. The event was so successful that it was then annually repeated. In fact, the 2018 edition was preceded by a concert event headlined by Ariana Grande, streamed on Amazon Video and Twitch.

The 2019 Prime Day concert was held on July 10, and the event was streamed exclusively for Prime subscribers. In 2019, in advance of its two-day Prime Day event on July 15 and 16, Amazon aired a live show with performances by Dua Lipa, Becky G, SZA, and Taylor Swift. These events have only enhanced the excitement surrounding this occasion.

Prime Day and Employee Treatment

Prime Day has also become associated with protests and employee strikes. In 2018, for the first time, Prime Day protests began due to the treatment of workers at Amazon fulfillment centers. As a result, some supporters urged boycotts of Amazon during Prime Day to protest against these conditions.

Prime Day is not just about the deals; it represents a mix of convenience, discounts, and sometimes, controversy. This year, as with every year, many of us eagerly anticipate the event, making the most of the discounts and deals on offer.

Conclusion

As Amazon Prime Days have continued to grow and evolve, the excitement surrounding the event remains high. Last year, it featured a concert with well-known artists, and this year, the event promises similar excitement and opportunities for shoppers. No matter how this year's event unfolds, it is undoubtedly an event not to be missed by Amazon Prime members.
