Step 1: Saving the JioMart WhatsApp Number and Sending the First Message
The initial step involves saving the JioMart WhatsApp number, 88500 08000, and sending a simple message, "Hi." After sending this message, you will receive an automated response prompting you to input the pin code of your area. This pin code will be used to generate a valid link for placing an order. For instance, we used a different pin code to verify the process, and received the following automated reply:
Automated Reply: Hello, please provide your pin code to proceed further.
Step 2: Filling Up Address Details and Accepting Updates via WhatsApp
Upon clicking the generated link, you will be prompted to enter your delivery address. In addition, you will need to agree to receive updates via WhatsApp to proceed with the ordering process. Upon completing these steps, you will be presented with a list of available items to choose from.
Step 3: Confirming Order Details and Placing the Order
After reviewing the available items, you can confirm your order by finalizing the details. The selected items will be delivered to the nearest Kirana shop associated with your entered address. These goods will typically be delivered within 2 days. The current payment option is cash on delivery; however, JioMart is expected to introduce additional payment methods such as UPI, JioMoney, Credit/Debit cards, and potentially even integrated WhatsApp payments in the future.
