Why Joining Vestige is a Recipe for Failure: Insights from a Former Employee
Why Joining Vestige is a Recipe for Failure: Insights from a Former Employee
As someone who has experienced the reality behind Vestige from the inside, I can’t emphasize enough why you should never join a company with such negative and taunting ways of promoting their products. The attitudinal and promotional tactics used by Vestige reflect poorly on their company culture and work environment.
The Harsh Reality of MLM: A Tale from Personal Experience
My uncle joined an MLM company in 2012 and 2013, with the promise of quick financial success and lofty goals. When he joined, his monthly salary through Tata Steel, where he worked as a permanent employee with a diploma in electrical, was around ?50,000. The company provided a comfortable 2BHK apartment, free education for his children at an international school, and medical facilities for the whole family up to ?25 lakhs at the Tata Mains Hospital.
He resigned from his stable job and joined an MLM with the dream of building a huge team. In just 2 years, he managed to create a team of over 5,000 people. For about 6 months, he earned around ?1 lakh per month. However, as soon as the downline team members started losing interest in the product due to its high cost compared to other options available in the market, his earnings plunged to zero. The reality hit him hard, and he was left with nothing—quite the opposite of the financial freedom he had envisioned.
The Dark Side of MLM: No Job Security and Zero Earnings
MLM companies often promise financial stability and a way to achieve financial independence, but in reality, they are often nothing more than a trap. In Vestige, you are essentially a salesperson who's paid based on the performance of your downline team. When your team stops purchasing, your income comes to a screeching halt. Your salary is directly tied to your performance and the success of your team. If your team stops purchasing, you face the same fate as my uncle. Your hard work and dedication can lead to zero earnings, leaving you in a worse position than before.
The Success Myth Busted
Many MLM companies, including Vestige, promise their members that they will achieve financial success, buy luxury cars, and become millionaires. However, these promises are often hollow. My uncle’s journey with Vestige ended with him achieving little more than a serviceable motorcycle. Success in MLM is highly elusive and often a false promise.
A Path to True Success
The path to financial freedom and success doesn’t lie in the complex and often deceptive world of MLM. True success comes from stable, secure jobs like the one my uncle once had at Tata Steel. With a permanent job, you have a guaranteed income, no pressure to perform, and job security. True financial independence means earning a steady, reliable income without the high-stakes risk involved in MLM. It means making sacrifices and working hard for a secure future without the looming fear of it all coming to an end.
So, my advice is clear: if you’re considering joining Vestige or any similar MLM company, think twice. You might end up as a better person, financially savvy, and more personally fulfilled by taking the safer, more secure path of traditional employment. After all, as the wise Richard Branson once said, 'Failure is just another way to learn.'
